Def Jam rapper 2 Chainz is going to have some tough decisions to soon make. The hip-hop veteran has revealed the impact his recently announced NBA All-Star hip-hop basketball game has created.
Deuce went to Instagram this week and said he’s received endless calls from rappers trying to get down.
Earlier in the week, Chainz gave fans a little taste of his basketball skills.
Recently, 2 Chainz announced plans to do a celebrity basketball game with Snoop Dogg at next month’s NBA All-Star Weekend.
“I just got off the phone with my big homie, my big bro Snoop Dogg and we gonna do this GSPN thing for All-Star Weekend since the league ain’t ever let me play in one of their games which is all good, all love. I did like what I do with most of my own things which is I’m going to create my own. Snoop came up with an idea to team up with adidas to do like a rappers versus rappers and it was going to be East versus West. I just got off the phone with him. We’re going to do Trap picks, we started doing like blind picks already. Trinidad and Quavo, y’all already with me, y’all don’t even know it yet.”
In December 2016, 2 Chainz said he would accept an opportunity to go up against Snoop in a b-ball game.
“Unc, now, I’m up here on this West Coast time, I’m up all night, trapping and rapping. I get up a couple hours ago and see Uncle Snoop’s cappin’ on ya, dog, kicking that real sh*t to you, now, whatcha gonna do about that, Chain? So Unc, I’ma take you up on your offer. I’ma scrub your a** up! And the weed free, the weed’s on the house, bring a bag of gas of weed on the house but we gonna make somebody come in with a chip – endorsements, agencies, marketing – me and Snoop gonna play. Y’all bring the check. Under Armour, adidas, Nike, Yeezy – I accept your challenge.”
