With a month of season two of BMF still unfolding, season three isn’t too far behind. Rapper 2 Chainz and R&B star Ne-Yo are entering the “50-Verse” by joining the cast for season three. SOHH also highlights nine other artists who have also become part of the family.

Season three of Black Mafia Family also known as  BMF has already been announced and two Grammy Award-winning artists, 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo will be joining the cast. 

2 Chainz will play an Atlanta distributor known as “Stacks,” and will challenge the show’s main character, Big Meech, to his street code. Making his way back to the acting world, Ne-Yo will play Rodney Green, an Atlanta entrepreneur who is all about his money.

Other artists are already a part of the “50 Verse,” who’s appeared in a cameo or a regular character includes the following  “50 Verse” crew:

Yung Miami

Caresha took to her Instagram and announced her acting debut on season two of BMF.  Recently, the City Girl also starred in You People on Netflix, which later sparked controversy for the writers’ frequent use of interracial couples. 

Kash Doll

The “Ice Me Out” rapper has a regular role on BMF, playing Monique, a lover to Meech and baby mother to his enemy Lamar. She made the announcement around the same time she landed a new deal with her record label MNRK Music Group.

Eminem

In 2021, TV mogul 50 Cent announced Slim Shady would play a huge role in the BMF series.  Eminem played “White Boy Rick” in November 2022. His character was based on the real drug trafficker and FBI informant Richard Wershe Jr.

Snoop Dogg

50 cent also added Snoop Dogg to the first season of BMF and continued his role into season two. The California native plays a character that goes by the name Pastor Swift. 

LeToya Luckett

The former Destiny’s Child star made her regular appearance on 50 Cent’s Power Book III: Raining Kanan.  She played a frequent churchgoer and estranged mother to Kanan’s cousin Laverne Thomas. 

Joey Bada$$

Jo-Vaughn “Joey Bada$$” Scott has a regular role in the Raising Kanan series. He plays “Unique,” a drug dealer and former enemy of Kanan’s mother Raquel Thomas. 

Mary J. Blige

The R&B icon has a regular role in Power Book II: Ghost, playing a Queen pin and Tariq’s handler known as Monet. 

Method Man

Clifford “Method Man” Smith, Jr also has a regular role in the Power series. He plays Davis MacLean, a “brilliant” and “ethically challenged” lawyer to the series’ main character Tariq. 

LightSkinKeisha

The former Love & Hip-Hop star and Atlanta native also landed a regular role on the Power series.  She starts as Brushaundria Carmichael, Tariq’s classmate at a university. 

50 Cent Inks Non-Exclusive Deal With Fox While Other TV Networks Miss Out

50 Cent has inked a new non-exclusive deal with Fox which will help him form more TV shows through his G-Unit Film & Television company. This comes after his feud with cable network Starz.
Amid his contract with Starz, which is set to expire, the “In Da Club” artist has gotten a non-exclusive TV deal with Fox.
