The hip-hop community has had enough. Rap stars Meek Mill, Nas, T.I. and 2 Chainz have reacted to 17-year-old Antwon Rose having his life taken from him in Pittsburgh at the hands of law enforcement.
Over the past few hours, the hip-hop stars have shared disgusted reactions to the unarmed teenager’s death.

Cops shot and killed Rose Tuesday (June 20) following a pursuit for an East Pittsburgh shooter.
According to the Allegheny County Police Department, police initially responded to reports of a shooting around 8:20 pm on Tuesday, finding a 22-year-old man who had been shot but was taken to the hospital and survived. Police put out a call for a vehicle that was seen fleeing the scene, and officers stopped a car that they said matched the description. While they were detaining the driver of the car, two people jumped out. An officer opened fire, killing a 17-year-old. (VOX)
Despite being unarmed, cops still fired at Rose when he ran away following a police stop.
Rose was unarmed, Allegheny County Police Superintendent Coleman McDonough told reporters. Two firearms were recovered from the floor of the vehicle, McDonough said. McDonough said he was “very confident” the car the officer stopped was the one involved in the shooting, pointing to “ballistic damage to the rear window.” Based on witness statements, McDonough said, he believes Rose was given verbal commands, but he didn’t know what the specific command was.
