NBA legend Michael Jordan‘s son Marcus Jordan has stepped forward to react to rap star Kanye West‘s new “Facts” song.

Jordan laughed up Yeezy’s jabs toward his dad’s parent company, Nike, on Twitter Saturday (January 2).

On the song’s hook, Yeezy takes ample jabs at Jordan’s Jumpman sneaker brand.

“Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman/Yeezy, Yeezy, Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman (Yo!)” (“Facts”)

Sports stars Odell Beckham Jr. and Nick Young have both reacted to Ye referencing them on the song.

With Odell, Yeezy makes a reference to the NFL star’s recent “reckless” on-field behavior.

Every time I talk they say I’m too aggressive/I was out here spazzin’, all y’all get the message?/On the field I’m over reckless, on my Odell Beckham” (“Facts”)

In regard to Young a.k.a. Swaggy P, Kanye referenced him and Houston Rockets star James Harden.

“Tell Adidas that we need a million in production (Yo!)/I done told y’all, all I needed was the infrastructure/Now we hottest in the streets, it ain’t no discussion/James Harden, Swaggy P runnin’ up the budget” (“Facts”)

  1. Can someone please tell me how Kanye Shoes became so popular??? ugliest shoes I ever seen….No troll please honest answer only!!

    • but you act like the Jordans aren’t horrible, why do you think they keep retro’ing them, and even those aren’t selling out anymore, I went into 4 different brand sneak stores, and they were still in there, all except 1… and in Europe, they are ALL still in there including the 72-10’s…. Kanye shoes are ugly, but you can’t find a store anywhere with them in it.

      • That’s because Kayne price tag we live in a world where the more the sneakers cost the more appealing they are … well scratch that basically the logic for anything there are headphone out that are just as good as Beats if not better, but people will buy the beats because we all know they cost $200. Now far as the Jordan’s not selling out as fast its because of NIKE or Team Jordan or who ever prices thwho determines the price of them are ripping people off I remember in the 90s when my mom use to wait outside footlocker early Wednesday morning’s because I was @ school back then they use to come out weekdays no ticket was ask first come first served also they where originally $125 or less. Now what are the asking price for Jordan’s $175 ?$200 ? And that’s just for kids size.

  2. Yeah they’re ugly shoes! Kanye starting the year off bitching as usual and he wants us to vote for him? HA HA lol! Can’t take him serious!

    • Yeezy’s are selling out, can’t find them anywhere for less then $1000…..Jordons are in every store, you couldn’t say that 5 years ago… and we talking about retro Jordans, the new Jordans so are horrible I see them in Marshalls and Ross for $40

      • That’s because Jordan’s use to be like 8 pair per store now they double or tripple that & they keep re releasing the same shoe, they might not sale out like they use to but with times all retros sale out. As for Marshalls & Ross having Jordan’s I think those are defects because I bought my 5 year old a Jordan Coat for winter from Ross $40 and the zipper keep getting jam no reason, and the coat is & looks brand new still.

  3. What these dudes don’t know is that Kanye has access to the actual numbers that he talks about. And even though certain people who have a horse in the race will try to tell you otherwise, his shoes are doing numbers.

    • But what everybody knows is that Jordans are on their 30th year run ……… what numbers are Kanye talking about again?

      • He’s obviously not talking about 30 years worth of sales. But the fact that he was around 8 years old when they (Jordan Brand) started their run and now he’s doing songs (factual songs) about competing with them is also quite fascinating. Thanks for pointing that out.

          • Agreed; people can say what they want. Whether or not they are being disingenuous is a different thing. It’s like saying that a hole-in-the-wall food spot is “competing” with McDonald’s. “Anybody” isn’t making the Yeezy’s — which incidentally — are doing numbers.

    • That’s what I’m saying. This might not jus b Arrogant Talk. This might actually b some shit thats already in Motion that the Public can’t even see coming yet.
