West Coast rap veteran Snoop Dogg reminded fans just how much of a sports fan he is this week by clowning former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly.
Following news of Kelly’s firing, Snoop proceeded to bash Kelly on Instagram Wednesday (December 30).
News about Kelly’s firing went viral late Tuesday (December 29) night.
There are a number of reasons why the Philadelphia Eagles fired Chip Kelly on Tuesday evening. One of them reportedly had to do with his refusal to relinquish personnel power. Another one involved him losing the support of his players. But it’s not just the players who stopped supporting Kelly, according to multiple reports. The former Eagles coach lost support in entire organization. (Bleeding Green Nation)
Last month, Dogg credited longtime friend Warren G for saving his rap career.
Snoop officially hooked up with music mogul Diddy’s Revolt TV to deliver his viral GGN (Double G News Network) YouTube series.
Each 30-minute episode will feature three guests touching on the latest in news and culture and some of the stars include, Larry King, Pharrell, Russell Simmons, Seth Rogen, and Mike Epps. The first episode will include appearances by Jamie Foxx, Schoolboy Q and Jhene Aiko. Revolt TV also will air past episodes as part of the deal, with new content continuing to be available on Snoop Dogg’s YouTube page. (Deadline)
