Reason 1: It’s Real

The first reason you should get the new album, Refueled, is because it’s real R&B and hip-hop music. If anybody who paid attention to the whole progression of myself just being in the group 112 over the past 20 years, that’s really where we had a lot of fun in – the hip-hop. We knew the ways of mixing hip-hop and R&B. We would take hard beats and put very relatable soft words that everybody could relate to. When you put it together, it made it very, very interesting.

Reason 2: Classic

The second reason is because this is a classic album. It’s not one of those albums where you put it on and it kind of puts you asleep. At the same time, it’s not one of those albums where like a lot of these R&B artists think the only way to keep everyone’s attention is by sounding like a hip-hop. You can’t really tell the difference between Trap Soul and Trap Music is so popular. It’s interesting to me how some R&B artists steer off what R&B is supposed to be and you turn on the record and you’re like, “Oh.”

Reason 3: Amazing

The third reason is because it’s amazing content and it will definitely help you in your everyday life on a positive end. The content is the whole reason why I named the album “Refueled.” I feel like everybody goes through things and can relate to love – good, bad and ugly. Anybody can put out a problem but it takes a very special type of person to actually put together a solution. The way “Refueled” is made, no matter what you’re going through at the time, I made sure every record on here was very positive.

Reason 4: Thank Me Later

The fourth reason is because, for all you guys, when you play it you’re going to love me later. Trust me. It sets the mood. I have some favorite albums that I listen to from over the past year or so and the music sounds amazing but I’m listening to it in the car with my girl and the next song comes on and she’s looking at me like, “Hmmm.” That’s the last thing I need which is her thinking or having any negative type of feelings and her thinking is this something that’s going on in our particular type of relationship. Unfortunately I don’t really listen to the radio but when I do put it on, I have heard records that definitely raises the insecurities more instead of giving a woman assurance. That’s what I think about when I think of R&B music and the people I looked up to. That’s the one thing that I fell in love with in R&B. I fell in love with the music and I wanted to be a part of it. It was such a platform to where you can touch people very positively in every aspect.

Reason 5: Ladies’ Man

The fifth reason is for the ladies. This is an all-time classic. I can keep going on.
