Former Bad Boy Records rapper Yung Joc is making headlines this week for finding himself in handcuffs after being pulled over for speeding Thursday (April 30) in Georgia.
According to reports, police arrested Joc after realizing he had a suspected license.
Law enforcement sources tell us the rapper was pulled over by Atlanta PD Thursday for speeding. Cops ran his license and discovered it was suspended. But that wasn’t all. YJ has a warrant out for his arrest. We don’t know the nature of the warrant, but it doesn’t matter much. The rapper was cuffed and taken to the cop shop for a not-so-pretty mug. He’s still in custody. (TMZ)
Joc made headlines last fall for throwing a fit over his family taking part in a reality television series.
Joc tells TMZ … he’s PISSED about his ex Hasina White signing on to a show called “Baby Mamas Atlanta, Virginia, Denver & Los Angeles” — yes, that’s the name. The rapper says his lawyers are noodling over their options … in the form of legal options … explaining, “I will sue the dog s*** out of her if she even thinks about doing this show.” The show’s producers are unmoved, saying the show will go on the air in January. Details of Joc’s marriage nearing its end surfaced online last July.
Alexandria Robinson filed to divorce the 31-year-old rapper. They were high school sweethearts and have been married for 13 years. They have 3 kids. Joc’s been carrying on a high profile relationship with Karlie Redd on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” They live together on the show. And get this … the GF gets really pissed off when she suspected he cheated on her. (TMZ)
Despite the perceived pressure, Joc said he was prepared for fans and critics alike to see him as a family man on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” last April.
“I’m definitely prepared for it to change. I know what I signed up for. I ain’t no spring chicken. I’ve been around the block. The name is Yung Joc and I have a youthful vibrance to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m a grown man. Hell, my son is 14 and I did not have him at a young age.
