With anticipation growing for his Street Lottery 2 mixtape to finally drop in the upcoming weeks, SOHH reached out to Atlanta's Young Scooter to try and find out when he'll release a much-anticipated Cam'ron collaboration off the project.

While he would not delve too much into the collabo, Scoot said he linked up with Cam’ron through mutual relationships.

“Cam supports my music,” Scooter told SOHH. “I support his music and we got in touch with each other through his team and my team. We just got in and did a song [called ‘Over With.’] There’s more music that we’re working on too. I’m a big fan of Dipset.” (SOHH)

Along with Cam, Scooter said fans can expect his Diplomatic ties to extend to group members Jim Jones and Juelz Santana.

“I got some music with Jim,” Scooter added, referring to Jim Jones. “I got a joint with Jim and Juelz [Santana]. ‘Over With’ isn’t out yet. I’m going to release it before the mixtape drops. I might release it tomorrow.” (SOHH)

Back in October, Scooter talked about his admiration for Killa Cam.

“It was good, Cam’s hard working. I like Cam’ron because he is so street, [and] that’s the lane I chose, that’s where I’m from, the streets. I linked up with him through one of my peoples, we reached out to him, and we reached out to his manager and told him I really want to work with him.” (XXL Mag)

Last week, YS released his “Running Out Of Money” record to the masses.

First things first: Atlanta rapper Young Scooter would like to clarify that he, specifically, is not running out of money. Yes, that’s the title of the song, but it applies to other rappers. If this were a song only about Young Scooter, the title would be the same as the part of the hook that goes “never running out of money.” But the economy is turbulent, and while Young Scooter might be hitting the street lottery, not every rapper is. So, “Runnin’ Out Of Money”: There it is. Speaking of street lotteries, Scooter’s mixtape, Street Lottery 2, is set to drop on New Year’s Day, 2014. This is the first single from that mixtape. Check it out below, and get ready for January 1. (Complex)

Street Lottery 2 is slated to drop January 1, 2014.
