According to Young Money president Mack Maine, the LP will come together shortly.

Weezy and his YM signees are once again planning another family LP to follow up 2009’s gold selling LP, We Are Young Money. “We haven’t actually recorded one verse for that album,” Mack said. “When we were on tour, we said we’re gonna wait until we get back to Miami to get everybody out there. We have one more show in Hawaii then we’ll start recording. It wont take long. Too much creativity for it to take a long time. (XXL Mag)

The 2009 compilation album featured guest appearances from R&B singer Lloyd and Cash Money Records’ Birdman.

Prior to hitting gold status, We Are Young Money debuted in the Top 10 around December 2009.

Lil Wayne’s Young Money compilation, We Are Young Money, debuted at No. 9 this week. The group’s debut album has sold 143,000 copies to date. (SOHH Sales Wrap)

Although Mack Maine has not yet confirmed it, speculation claims the upcoming compilation will drop this winter.

Drake will serve up his sophomore album Take Care on his birthday (October 24). One week later on November 1, Bow Wow will make his Cash Money debut with Underrated. Young Money’s teen heartthrob Lil Twist will step up to the plate with his debut Don’t Get It Twisted on November 8. On November 15, Tyga will invite fans into his Careless World with his second album. Jay Sean and Birdman share Thanksgiving week with their respective releases Freeze Time and Bigga Than Life, both due November 21. And the family will come together for the holidays on December 20 with a second Young Money compilation. (Rap-Up)
