Discussing a Ustream broadcast held by Minaj earlier this week, Maine provided clarification on what was said and implied.

According to the New Orleans rapper/ businessman, there will not be a full-fledged event, per se, but there may be a chance that Weezy will join Drake onstage at the last leg of his Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour two days later at Vegas’s The Joint. “That’s Drake’s last day of the tour and that may be a surprise that Wayne’s there,” he told XXLMag.com. “I just don’t wanna spoil the surprise. Like I said we were gonna do an official after party…that could still happen…but the [date] with Drake…I can’t promise that.” (XXL Mag)

Earlier this week, Minaj hinted at a celebration for Wayne possibly being held in Las Vegas.

Young Money’s first lady, Nicki Minaj, recently called fellow rapper Drake live during a UStream broadcast. During the call Minaj may have accidently hinted at a “welcome home” concert for Lil Wayne in Las Vegas. Although there are multiple rumors of “welcome home” concerts forLil Wayne, nothing has been confirmed yet. “We might be together in Vegas,” she hinted during the broadcast. “Probably. Possibly.” Drake responded “Stop snitching on the Internet.” (Rap Basement)

In early October, Maine said Wayne would not have a “Welcome Home Weezy” concert take place upon his release from jail on November 4th.

“It’s not gonna be a concert, he’s gonna do a party,” Mack Maine confirmed in an interview. “We wanted to do a concert, but we just decided to do a party. We might do a family party. We just gonna celebrate him coming home and just party-party and work- work. Just wild out and celebrate, fly to Miami, fly to where we live. Of course, he gotta make sure he sees his immediate family, his kids and stuff. Just basically have a good time.” (VIBE)

Cash Money Records co-founder Baby also said the concert would possibly not occur.

“We still haven’t really made up our mind,” Birdman told MTV News. “I think what’s important, we want to see family first. If the concert happens, it happens. But right now, we just want to come home and see our family and party, I think. That’s what we gonna do: just come to Miami, and just party for a minute. Work and party and play. Have the whole team out here, and we gonna do it up. Miami is gonna be Weezy world. Weezy weekend.” (MTV)
