According to new reports, Jeezy’s long-awaited project will drop in mid-June.

Jeezy hasn’t even announced an official first single yet, but he’s already moving up his album release. The ATL rapper is giving the people what they want by rushing his fourth major label album TM103 into stores a week earlier than expected on June 15, Rap-Up.com has learned. He clears the way for Eminem‘s Recovery on June 22 and now prepares to face off against Drake’s Thank Me Later on the new date. (Rap-Up)

Producer Drumma Boy recently talked about working on Jeezy’s new album.

“With Jeezy, it’s funny because when it comes to the music, I already know what he wants,” Drumma said in an interview. “We’ve never actually worked in the studio together. The first time I ever heard ‘Put On’ was on the radio. [Laughs] Just the other day, he called me as soon as I woke up. First call of the day. He was like, ‘Where you at? I need to get some more music.’ I’ll give him the intersection I’m at and he’ll just ride down right then, pick up a beat CD and keep it moving. It’s like a real dope deal. I really got crack! [Laughs] All our joints come that way. Even with [the album’s street single] ‘Lose My Mind,’ I didn’t hear that until we mixed it. So I can’t tell you exactly what I’ve got on there yet, but in addition to “Lose My Mind,” I’m gonna have two of three other joints on the album.” (VIBE)

He has also discussed what rap fans could expect to hear from the upcoming project earlier this year.

“But June, by the way,” he said of the LP’s release date. “That’s what I’m thinking. If you the boss, you can talk like that. I’m thinking June. I wanna own the summer. If you coming out [with an album] in June, you might wanna think about that, bruh. TM103, I will be there…I’m just going in, basically handling my business. I gotta say what’s on my mind. But I’m not here to sell you on no album. Like I said, June, you will be surprised, homie. That’s real talk. I been working on this. I been back in the lab…I got you.” (MTV)

Prior to receiving a new release date, Game said he was not worried about his R.E.D. Album coming out on June 15.

“Nah man, it’s just a package deal, you should go and support hip-hop, go get Thank Me Later and go grab R.E.D. and you good,” Game said in an interview. “You know you’re good, then the next week you come back and buy Eminem, great. June is gonna be a big month. So no, it’s no competition. Everything don’t gotta be a competition and we’re not even the same type of [artist,] we’re not in the same lane. I respect what he does and I talked to him before, he’s a fan of mine so we’ll just keep it like that and put it out, people will go and buy them and who cares who’s number one, number two, it don’t make no sense to me because I’ve been around and sold millions of records already. I have nothing else to prove.” (Rap-Up TV)

No further details have been released as of now.
