Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy may be known to put on for his city but recently he put out his top five all-time favorite rappers including late music mogul 2Pac and even himself.

Along with naming his fave five, Jeezy was also asked to reveal his all-time favorite artist.

“Ah man, Tupac, B-Legit, Juvenile,” Jeezy said in an interview. “Uh… Scarface. Uh.. Jeezy. [laughs] Nah? Ice Cube then. [My favorite artist of all time?] Of all time? Of whatever [genre]? Ah man, Bob Marley I think.” (KYLD)

Recently, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs told SOHH he would include Jeezy in his Top 5 Dead or Alive list.

“Jeezy created his own lane. Even if I wasn’t signed to Jeezy, I’d say the same sh*t. It’s alotta n*ggas that have careers because of him. They’re feedin’ their families off of a lane Jeezy created. I ain’t gotta say no names, you know who them motherf*ckers are.” (SOHH Top 5 Dead Or Alive)

Earlier this year, Atlanta’s DJ Drama included the “Snowman” in his Top 5 favorite list.

“I gotta put [Rick] Ross in there, I gotta put [Lil] Wayne in there,” said Drama. “I still rep with the home team. My man [T.I.] about to come home and crush ‘em. Shout to my man [Young] Jeezy, he’s doing his thing. And I gotta put 2 Chainz in there. He’s really smashing the A and on honorary mention, shout out to the homieFuture, too.” (DJ Absolut)

Outside of favorites talk, Jeezy recently discussed an interest to make a joint album alongside Atlanta’s T.I.

Although both Atlanta rappers have had hectic schedules this fall, Jeezy said that he and T.I. may someday release a joint album, a la “Watch The Throne.” “Me and Tip actually were together and we [talked] about it,” he said. “We’ve just hit the ground running and been doing so many records that I don’t think it’s impossible. And we’ve known each other [long] enough to put something like that together, and I definitely think that the city would need it, because it would be a good look. And it would be an amazing album release party, by the way.” (Billboard)
