When asked about the track by a Twitter user Monday afternoon, Jay urged Guru to finally let the world hear his full verses.

So Jay-Z was asked in a tweet about when ‘Dead Presidents 3? would be dropping, and he responded by telling Young Guru or Just Blaze to go ahead and unleash it. Within minutes, Guru let go of the full version which can be streamed below. The sample for the track was provided by Just Blaze, Young Guru was responsible for beat and the second verse for the track ended up on “Moment of Clarity”. Hov is not playing around today & just in case you didn’t already know his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail is in stores from tomorrow. (HHNM)

The track originally landed across the Internet and mixtape circuit in 2007.

The power of Twitter. During his on-going Q&A session with fans on his Twitter account, Jay-Z was asked about the cult classic “Dead Presidents 3? which leaked back in 2007 during his American Gangster album run. In a good mood on the even before his Magna Carta Holy Grail LP releases in-stores, Jay gave his long-time engineer Young Guru the green light to release the proper full version. As noted by Just Blaze, this song features two verses. One some lines off “Moment of Clarity” from The Black Album, while the other leaked via DJ Green Lantern. (Miss Info TV)

Jigga spent most of the day answering various questions from Twitter users.

Jay-Z tweets pretty sparingly, but in the weeks surrounding the release of his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, he took to Twitter more regularly (new rules, after all). And today (July 8), he’s been having some fun replying to random followers who tweeted at him. The star began by addressing a few followers who threw shade his way, but once fans started relaying their amusement to Hov, he began replying to those tweets. Then he started answering random questions, shedding some light on his favorite cereal and why he didn’t call the album Magna Carter Holy Grail. Several of the posts contained the hashtag “#mylaugh,” which sounds much more refined than “LOL,” don’t you think? (Idolator)

Jigga even entertained comments about his new song “Tom Ford” and protégé Memphis Bleek.

One fan tweeted his theory that Memphis Bleek is running Jay-Z’s account at the moment, to which said account responded, “you ARE worthy.” Since Jigga wrote a song about clothing designer Tom Ford, another Twitter user asked whether he should write a song about Hanes, his shirt-slinger of choice. “YES. *my laugh,” wrote Jay. He also told one follower, “Jesus loves you…and Hova and Yesus.” Pretty sure he meant Yeezus. (SPIN)
