According to Buck Marley, he recently got thrown into solitary confinement but is now back to his normal jail habits.

“Dear Fans, I was in the hole 4 the last 2 months, so it’s been slow on the mail, so Im back to writing y’all this week! I appreciate y’all!,” Buck tweeted November 24th. (Young Buck’s Twitter)

Last month, reports surfaced which claimed Buck wanted his 18-month sentence nixed.

Nashville rapper Young Buck wants a federal court to toss out his prison sentence. The rapper, whose real name is David Brown, is currently in a Mississippi prison after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm. However, he claims the 18-month prison term handed to him is a “complete miscarriage of justice.” Brown claims he couldn’t have been a felon in possession of a firearm, since a previous felony conviction was expunged from his record. Brown was also involved in a bankruptcy case that led to the IRS auction of thousands of dollars’ worth of his belongings earlier this year. (News Channel 5)

In September, Buck Marley gave fans the inside scoop on his living condition.

“Man, sh*t man, let eveybody know that I’m good. I’m 100. I’m well taken care of. I’m straight, under the circumstances I’m in. This is prison, you know what I’m saying? At the end of the day, I’m making the best out of prison. I don’t even like to call it prison. I call it Chain Gang College now. I’m handling it, I’m handling lt like a real man gotta handle it. There ain’t no other way once you’re back here. Either you do the time or let the time do you. I choose to do my time, you know what I’m saying? I stay out the way, I got a couple good brothers I do roll with, they my partners. Other than that, sh*t, I’m doing time. You feel me?” (Back On My Buck Sh*t)

The Southern rapper officially turned himself over to authorities in early August.

Young Buck is back in prison … TMZ has learned the former G-Unit rapper has officially begun his 18-month sentence for gun possession. Sources connected to the rapper tell us … moments ago, Buck checked into Yazoo City Medium Security Federal Prison in Southern Mississippi. As we previously reported, federal agents recovered multiple guns in Buck’s home during a 2010 raid. At the time, he was prohibited from possessing any sort of firearm because he was already a convicted felon. (TMZ)
