While he still hass days under 50 Cent‘s wing are now only contractual, the rapper said he’s now focused on the business aspect of the music industry.

“My survival comes with how hard I hustle, so my hustle never stops,” Buck said in an interview. “I’ve been making sure my business is totally correct so I could get everything I deserve. Everything I go out and learn. No disrespect to none of the labels out there, but I feel if they’re able to take from someone, they’re gonna do it. Right now I’m focused on the business. That’s why I’m able to create Cashville Records and have legendary artists like C-Bo and the Outlawz.” (MTV)

Despite his partnership with Tupac’s former group Outlawz, they recently had their joint tour cancelled.

The Outlawz: Tupac Still Breathing Tour has been cancelled. Uptown Entertainment Europe became the Management of the Group in February 2009 and has per request and contract since then planned the European tour for the group and has organized sponsors, features as well as video shoots and media attention. The Group, against the contractual agreement did not adhere to their financial or contractual obligations. On legal council’s advice, no further statements will be made at this time. (Hip Hop Press)

While Buck has yet to drop an album since breaking ties with 50, he previously spoke on his new mixtape Back On My Bucksh*t.

“What’s taking so long with the Back On My Bucksh*t mixtape,” Buck asked in a video. “This what’s going on right now, I’m riding right now. This is me, this is my life…I’m letting you see what’s going on, I’m good. I go through sh*t just like you go through sh*t, just like everybody go through sh*t but I’m good man, ya understand? It got a n*gga more focused, I will say that much. But I will say you can’t hold a real n*gga down for too long. Streets been waiting, Back On My Bucksh*t. And I’m giving you b*tch a** rappers h*ll. I see you h*e a** n*ggas but I ain’t gonna give you no attention, I’ma give you h*ll…I just wanna let n*ggas know and keep n*ggas focused right now.” (Southern Smoke TV)

The rapper previously offered his opinions on why 50 has kept him on the G-Unit roster.

“In my situation, it’s more humiliating to me I think in 50 eyes to hold me as long as he can before I’m actually able to fulfill the albums I have left [on my contract],” Buck said in an interview earlier this year. “So, eventually I’ll be able to come around and do another album… I think [50] knows that if he was to [release me] everybody and they mama waiting on the kid…It’s simple, I can let you know what I’ve made. I’ll just put out my tax statements since I signed with G-Unit… I haven’t received ten million dollars, or jacked off 10 million dollars. I’ve never paid a million dollars in taxes.” (Hip Hop DX)
