Former G-Unit member Young Buck has stepped up to speak on his publicized IRS auction and why fans should not worry too much about his well-being despite the financial woes.
Buck recorded a video from house arrest and revealed he once again has possession of his 615 necklace.
“These types of things, they’re sentimental to me. Anything that holds sentimental value, it had to come back,” Buck said in a video, showing off his auctioned 615 chain. “I ain’t never been no material-driven type dude — the material things ain’t never made me. It’s nothing that anybody, not just the government, can take from me other than my life that I can’t get back. … I just want people to understand I’m straight. … I’m just letting everybody know out there, Young Buck, 100, I’m right here, trying to keep everything together, trying to spend as much time as possible with my children.” (MRCTS Media)
Yesterday, reports suggested Buck may have reattained some of his auctioned property.
An eye witness at this week’s IRS auction of Young Buck’s possessions told HipHopDX that many of those items will be returned to the rapper. M-Eighty, a record-breaking emcee and manager to Canibus, reported that Buck’s manager, G, purchased “a lot of items,” including the rapper’s Cashville chain. The chain takes its name from Buck’s label. (HHDX)

The Internal Revenue Service said they took in $53,000 during an auction of rapper Young Buck’s jewelry, recording equipment and other seized possessions. The IRS said the highest priced item, a 615 Cashville necklace the rapper wore in some of his videos went for $12,600. It had been appraised at approximately $20,000. The agency held a preview of the merchandise on Wednesday. It included TVs, gold albums, jewelry, and recording equipment. The rapper’s trademarked “Young Buck” name was also sold. (News Channel 5)
Buck recently talked about an upcoming jail bid and what major record labels he could see himself joining later down the road.
Buck is spending time with his family and working on music in the limited days leading up to his incarceration. A free agent, no longer signed to G-Unit, Buck is just looking forward to starting anew and finding a new home. Months back, rumors sparked of him signing with Rick Ross‘ Maybach Music Group or his former label home, Cash Money. Truth is…Buck told XXL that either imprint would be a good look. “MMG has a real push for what they got going,” he said. “I came up with Cash Money, so just to see what they’re doing… But the height of Buck is coming out this penitentiary.” (XXL Mag)
