Yelawolf On Wiz Khalifa’s Drug Bust, “He Just Smokes It, Who Gives A F*ck?”

Southern rapper Yelawolf has shared his reaction to Wiz Khalifa arrest for drug possession last week following one of his North Carolina concerts.

Yela, who has opened shows for Wiz, supported the rapper’s cause and downplayed the seriousness of marijuana possession.

“It’s unfortunate Wiz got locked up,” Yelawolf explained to “Its my homie. Its inevitable. That man smokes so much weed, he needs to move to Cali to live where its legal. He definitely shouldn’t have been locked up for having weed or smoking weed. I mean he just smokes it, who gives a f**k. They need to let him go and drop that s**t.” (All Hip Hop)

Earlier this year, rap pioneer Devin the Dude gave SOHH his reasons why marijuana should be legalized.

“I’m “very” much for, at the very least, the decriminalization of weed. I wouldn’t mind it being legal but if the powers that be could at least decriminalize the punishment with weed, I think it will be a lot better. I think it will help the nation a lot more than it will hurt it. I also think you could profit off of it too, medically and financially. And especially with getting the laws changed so that people wouldn’t have to miss weeks of work and mess up their whole schedule because there’s weed involved or with people having police kicking in doors and doing all kinds of crazy stuff because of a type of grass.” (SOHH Guest Star)
