After hip-hop couple Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose had the Internet hot over an alleged weekend wedding photo a couple days ago, new reports claim the Las Vegas trip was misperceived.
According to reports, Wiz and Rose were simply enjoying a highly dressed birthday celebration in the alleged wedding shot.
After photos surfaced of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose slow-dancing in Vegas last week, the ‘net wondered and whispered whether the couple had tied the knot. Not. A reliable source tells Billboard.com’s The Juice that Wiz and Amber “were simply celebrating Wiz’s birthday with close family and friends in Vegas.” The happy couple flew to Vegas to celebrate Wiz’s 24th birthday with close ones and did not get married. Speculation on the love birds’ marital status developed over the weekend.
Maybe so. The touchy-feely pair were snapped in the midst of what looks to be a newlyweds first dance. With Amber’s non-stop wife-talk and Wiz’s spontaneity we really wouldn’t be too surprised if these crazy kids really did walk down a Vegas aisle. Time (and tweets) will tell. (VIBE)
Last month, Rose said although marriage is imminent, they are both focused on their careers right now.
“We discuss it all the time; like he said, we’re very much in love,” Rose told MTV News while standing next to her “Black and Yellow” rapper beau on the VMA Pre-Show black carpet. “But, ya know, we’re just going to take our time and just enjoy each other right now. We’re both really busy and we work really hard and when the time comes, it’s gonna come.” (MTV)
Around mid-August, Rose detailed plans to marry Wiz in the future.
“We’re definitely going to get married and have babies. Not right now because we’re still busy and we still want to enjoy each other first.
