A few weeks after West Coast rapper Game hinted at possibly joining a speculated "Love & Hip Hop: Los Angeles" reality television show, SOHH reached out to Rostrum Records princess Vali to see if she would get involved if the opportunity presented itself.

While she did not pencil out the idea completely, the New York-raised, Los Angeles-based singer said continuing to build her music career is most important right now.

“Not yet,” Vali told SOHH when asked if she would consider doing reality television, specifically, the rumored “Love & Hip Hop: Los Angeles” show. “I have to find myself first. I have to do a lot more music. I want to be up there traveling and doing a lot more. I don’t see myself staying in one spot too long just because I want to get out there [to the masses]. Maybe some day. Maybe there will be a show around me and I might try out. … It’s not that I don’t take it seriously, it just depends on what you like. If you love food and you love cooking, you’re probably going to love those kinds of reality shows. I think it just depends on the show. Sometimes when I’m bored at home and I want something to watch, I might watch some reality TV.” (SOHH)

Earlier this month, West Coast rapper Game revealed some business talks had started to go down with VH1 executives.

“Business meeting with @MonaScottYoung @leauxsteez & the team…… Please do be scared !!!!!!!!!! #LHHLA,” Game tweeted, referencing Love & Hip Hop: Los Angeles. (Game’s Instagram)

Reports a week prior claimed R&B singer Ray J had turned down appearing on the pitched reality show.

“Love & Hip Hop” is moving to L.A. for its new spin-off — with episodes expected to start shooting later this month — but producers are now facing a HUGE problem … they can’t find a big name to star on it. Sources close to production tell us, they initially planned to attach Ray J as the headliner, but he’s currently tied up hosting “Bad Girls Club All-Stars” on Oxygen so he couldn’t sign on. (TMZ)

A few key cast members, including musicians Brooke Valentine and Hazel-E, were also revealed.

Now we’re told producers are scrambling to find someone else, but it’s proving more difficult than they anticipated … which is somewhat surprising, considering “Love & Hip Hop” is one of VH1’s highest-rated shows. According to sources, producers will start by shooting story lines for the smaller stars who have already signed on, including singer Brooke Valentine, radio DJ Yesi Ortiz, rapper Hazel-E, and video vixen Bria Myles. We’re told producers have decided to worry about the bigger stars later. (TMZ)
