Blockbuster actor/rapper Will Smith has opened a lane for his young daughter Willow, as she has recently released her debut single, "Whip My Hair".
The track began circulating via the Internet Wednesday (September 8) morning.
The uber-stylish spawn of Will Smith and his actor wife Jada Pinkett-Smith, 9-year-old Willow Smith, unleashed a beast of a record on the internet yesterday in the form of her debut single “Whip My Hair.” The track is mood music for all the kiddies heading back to school and brushing off their haters and that super hard math tests with a sassy whip of their hair. Funny enough, “Whip My Hair” is also ear candy for those who are twice, even three times Willow’s age who want a song with a hard beat, catchy hook, and expletive-free lyrics to work out or hit their dougie to. The minute the song opens with Willow singing “I whip my hair back and forth,” you’re hooked. (Neon Limelight)
Willow has already caught the attention of R&B singer Solange Knowles.
“WIllow Smith make me wanna whip some haiiirrr in this house. Ummm kill em girl. Kill em!,” she tweeted yesterday (September 7).

Earlier this summer, Smith’s mother, Jada Pinkett, said an album was in the works.
The 9-year-old singer, who is a fan of Rihanna and has her fashion style inspired by the Barbadian songstress, apparently is also influenced by the “Umbrella” hitmaker in this fresh material. Willow Smith’s music career has been hinted by her mother Jada Pinkett since June this year. At that time, the 38-year-old actress said, “Willow will be putting out an album soon and so I am excited about that, and she’s pretty awesome. (Peace FM Online)
