West Coast music mogul Marion "Suge" Knight is not losing any sleep following a near-fatal shooting last month and has addressed almost losing his life.
Despite law enforcement’s aim to bring justice to the case, Knight has downplayed the importance of finding the shooter.
“Well, yes I did [see who shot me]. I don’t think that’s really important, who pulled the trigger and who I seen pulled the trigger. I think that I’m doing extremely well and I’m happy to be doing well and whatever happens, happens,” Knight said in an interview. “I was shot inside the club and one thing my father always told me no matter what it is, you never give up. You never quit if you start something, or you walk in a place one way, no matter what goes on, you leave the same way as a man.” (TMZ)

Photos of Knight’s graphic injuries emerged across the Internet early Tuesday (September 2).
In the pics, obtained by TMZ, some of Suge’s wounds are still packed with gauze … after the shooting nine days ago at a pre-VMA party hosted by Chris Brown.
You can also see the massive scar down the middle of his gut– sources tell us doctors had to slice his torso open to make sure the bullets did not hit any major organs. Amazingly, they did not.
One crazy detail — the bullet hole in Suge’s arm is inches away from his ink honoring Tupac. One cool detail — docs stapled him up so well, his tatt of a vintage whip almost looks untouched. (TMZ)
A hospital released Knight following the shooting last week.
Apparently Suge won’t need rehab. Suge must have some sort of bionic recovery strength or something because in only three days, he was able to walk out. According to Suge’s reps, he’ll be able to nurse his wounds at home and will only need a couple of check-ups to ensure his health is back to normal. Talk about bouncing back. (XXL Mag)
This week, G-Unit head 50 Cent suggested a business suit could have helped Knight get away from the gang violence.
“Suge get hit, right? You see motherf*ckers smiling and sh*t like that. They were afraid of him,” 50 explained in an interview. “All those people that are happy that he just got hit, they were scared of him. He should of had on that suit. … Halfway kill you hurts.” (“Los Angeles Leakers”)
