After rumors of Miley and Kanye putting in some behind-the-scenes work in the studio, Cyrus made sure to shout-out Mr. West for having her back.

“The support of other artists is important because there are not many people who can relate to what I’m going through right now. Kanye West is one of those people, and even Katy Perry has been so cool. It’s easy for Kanye to support me because we’re in totally separate lanes of competition, but for Katy to say that she appreciates what I’m really doing for the pop industry, that keeps you going. And I mean, who cares what the media buzz is if Kanye West is telling you that you’re the sh*t?” (Cosmopolitan)

Not only supported by Kanye, Bad Boy Records’ French Montana recently gushed over his bond with the 20-year-old actress/singer.

“That’s my dog. That’s my peoples. We became friends at the Clive Davis Grammy party. I was sitting there with Puff. She was sitting there with Wiz [Khalifa]. She just kept looking at me laughing, I kept on looking at her laughing. I said, “What you laughing at?” She said, “I know you high like me.” After that, we became mad cool. I went over to the studio, just kicking it — Yeah. We working on something now. That’s just cool peoples.” (MTV Hive)

Along with Montana, Atlanta producer Mike Will Will Made recently confirmed Kanye and Miley were remixing standout Yeezus track, “Black Skinhead.”

Shortly after the 2013 MTV VMAs (August 25), reports started swirling that Miley Cyrus and Kanye West were working on a remix to the rapper’s song, “Black Skinhead.” Both reportedly skipped VMA after-parties to meet up in the studio the night of the award show. Mike Will Made It, producer, close friend and collaborator of Miley Cyrus, confirmed with MTV RapFix today (Sept. 11)(via MissInfoTV) that Miley will indeed be featured on the remix to the “Yeezus” track. (Does this mean we’re also getting a “Yeezus” remix album?) (Billboard)

A few months ago, reports surfaced about the two musicians working together on a secret collaboration.

After tormenting the Twitterverse with her twerking routine at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus went right into the studio with Kanye West to record a remix of his song “Black Skinhead,” Page Six has exclusively learned. Cyrus skipped her own VMA after-party at No. 8 and went into the studio for what her reps described as a late-night, “top- secret” collaboration, which sources said was with none other than West. The “Yeezus” rapper was one of the few artists not spotted out at Jay Z and Diddy’s bash in New York, which went into the early hours of Monday.” (New York Post)
