Reality television star Kim Kardashian received an unexpected surprise this week in New York City when anti-fur protesters stormed one of her events.
Footage from Kim K’s Barnes & Noble signing last night (May 5) has surfaced online.
In a video of the incident, things seem to be plodding along nicely, with the 34-year-old signing everyone’s books like a pro and thanking her fans for coming along. However, things take a turn for the not-so-friendly as one ‘fan’, who is at that point standing in front of Kimmy, suddenly starts shouting at her in protest of her fur-wearing habits. He says: “You’re the most disgusting human being on this planet. Shame on you for supporting the fur industry.” (Yahoo! Celebrity)
Despite the intense moment, Kim K managed to continue signing books.
As a serene Kim smiled beatifically in the direction of the long line of fans eager to display her penmanship to their friends, activists approached, telling her, “You are the most disgusting human being on this planet!” Kim, barely registering a thing, continued to sign books without interruption, while the activists were promptly removed from the store.
