Pop star Ke$ha recently opened up on putting together her "Sleazy" remix, speaking on why recruiting Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and T.I. added a gangster element to the pop record.

Admitting the three rap stars were at the top of her guest feature wish list, Ke$ha said it was T.I. who sealed the track’s completion.

“These were all kind of on my wish list of people to work with in the future,” she said in an interview. “Dr. Luke and I had this idea that we wanted to just get them all on one track and make it as gangster of a track as we possibly could. It was kind of a little bit of a mission, and the fact that we pulled it off just in time for Christmas — I’m stoked about it. … When I first got Andre 3000 on it, that was a dream come true … then it was Lil Wayne. Then it was Wiz Khalifa. And each one of them it was like a victory,” she said. Weezy was working in the same studio as the pop star, so she “bum-rushed” him to talk about the remix. “We got to talking, and he asked me what my sign was and we realized we could make some sick music together.” Once T.I. was onboard, Ke$ha knew it was time for them to put it out. “Finally it was like, ‘OK, that’s pretty f—ing gangster … mission accomplished.'” (MTV)

The new remix began circulating across the Internet a few days ago.

Ke$ha rounds up four of her favorite rappers for “Sleazy Remix 2.0 Get Sleazier,” the official remix to her single “Sleazy,” produced by Benny Blanco, Dr. Luke, and Bangladesh. Wiz Khalifa shouts out his wifey before passing it to André 3000, whose verse was recycled from his previous “Sleazy” remix. A confident Tip isn’t shy when it comes to his bedroom skills (“This d**k is so impressive”) and Weezy flows freely over the rattling bassline. Get sleazy. (Rap-Up)

In October, T.I. broke the news of his involvement on the record.

First up is the remix to pop singer Ke$ha’s Benny Blanco-produced club banger, “Sleazy.” Tip tells XXL that he’s not the only rapper on the song. The track will also feature fellow rap superstars Andre 3000, Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa. When asked who has the best verse, the ATLien confidently replied, “I haven’t heard anybody but mine [but] I’m gonna put my money on mine.” Also on deck is the remix to Meek Mill and Rick Ross’s summer smash, “I’ma Boss.” T.I.P. already recorded his verse. He says Weezy may also be on the song as well. (XXL Mag)

Last February, Ke$ha talked about snagging Andre 3000 for their original “Sleazy” remix.

“I sent him the track and was fully aware that he’s only been on a few songs in the past five years. But he ended up liking it. We got on the phone, and he said, ‘With a flow like that, you could definitely have a career as a rapper.’ It was the biggest compliment I’ve ever had. It was coming from a god! He’s one of my favorite musicians, lyricists, rappers, of all time.” (Rolling Stone)
