Waka Still Thinks Gucci’s Crazy: “I Guess God Hacked [His Twitter]”

While there may no longer be any bad blood between Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane, the Brick Squad Monopoly leader recently addressed his thoughts on the jailed Atlanta rapper.

Still not ready to believe Gucci’s Twitter account was hacked a few weeks ago, which resulted in disses shot his way, Waka taunted Mane about their rift.

“I don’t think I’m going to see him in the streets, the sh*t I’m doing. … Mentor? Like, dude said, I ain’t going to go against him — I feel like nobody helped me do sh*t. Not my mama, not Gucci, my first album, Gucci ain’t even on it, period. … I don’t know what secret feelings that man got,” Waka said in an interview. “From my personal opinion it gotta be jealousy or envy or something. [I heard he said his Twitter got hacked?] I guess God hacked it.” (“The Combat Jack Show”)

Rather than entertain a potential never-ending feud, Flocka recently said they are just going to go their own separate ways.

“We in two paths in our lives. It ain’t no beef, no animosity. It’s just that me and him see two different goals,” Flocka revealed in an interview. “I guess we both be at the finish line we just going our own routes. That’s all I can say. They just can’t put a finger on it. Like, ‘What’s the reason?’ Sometimes it’s none of your f*ckin’ business what’s the reason. You know what I’m saying? Just understand two men went they own ways but it’s no problem.” (Montreality)

A week prior, Flocka dismissed reports of Gucci’s Twitter being hacked by someone starting to spark a beef between them.

Flocka isn’t buying it. “Nah, that Twitter wasn’t hacked because we had a conversation before that. Real aggressive words like, ‘N—a let’s get up, let’s do this,’ ” Waka said when he appeared on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday (March 27). Waka didn’t reveal the details of that “real aggressive” conversation and was baffled as to why Gucci would label him disloyal. “I don’t know. Honest to God truth, I don’t know because I’m the loyalist person you could ever see. I took on a man’s beef, risked my life, hung out the window, risked my freedom. I never backed in a corner,” he said, referencing his involvement in Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy’s beef. “To my knowledge, it can’t be nothing but jealously or something because there is nothing I did disloyal.” (MTV)

Despite putting out music and projects together, Waka vowed to never work with Gucci again.

Things get even stickier because Gucci Mane is managed by Flocka’s mom Deb Antney. Even if the old friends manage to patch things up, Waka says he will never do another deal with Gucci or work with him in the studio. “It ain’t gonna never be no business, ever in life. No music or nothing,” he vowed. “I don’t feel nothing he say out his mouth. It ain’t real.” The “O Let’s Do It” rapper even referenced Gucci’s recent legal woes. On Wednesday, it was reported that Gucc turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest after he was accused of assaulting a fan. “He ain’t it, he’s bad vibes around me,” he said. “I greet fans; he punches fans. It’s a difference.” (MTV)

Prior to those comments, the Atlanta rapper stayed mum on the Mane topic.

“I don’t know, man,” he demurred. “I ain’t got no thoughts, it’s just like … a sunny day [today]. It’s sunny today, what’s tomorrow [bring]? It’s not even a thought.” Details are slim, but on March 15, Gucci called out his protégé on Twitter, saying that he was fired from Brick Squad (he later claimed his Twitter account was hacked). Waka has since fired back at the fellow hip-hopper through several careful re-tweets, and the aforementioned slights at the Diplomats show. Pressed for details, Waka seemed to indicate that the two had just grown apart. “The equator used to be tight, but it just gets wider as the years go,” he explained. “Sh*t happens.” (The Boom Box)
