Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame is crushing the hearts of grown men in their 20’s and 30’s after a brief Twitter exchange with former child television star Danielle Fishel this week.
Although Fishel claims she has never met Waka before, the two heated up the Internet with some playful, flirty tweets to one another.
Twitter is such an incredible tool. Out of the blue today, Waka Flocka Flame decided to reach out to Danielle Fishel, the actress who plays Topanga on Boy Meets World. Perhaps he had just seen the pictures from her Maxim cover shoot. Maybe he was just trying to compete with Gucci Mane, whom has been linked with Selena Gomez in recent days. For whatever the reason, Flocka tweeted at Fishel, saying simply, “squadd.” Fishel responded almost immediately, asking what “squadd” meant. After Fishel got an answer from a random spectator, Waka continued the conversation with another simple tweet, “Whaddup doe?” “Oh, not much. Just working,” Fishel answered. “Waddup with you?” Flocka never did respond, but Fishel reacted to the conversation, shocked not only by the fact that she was talking to the Brick Squad rapper, but also to the reaction of everyone witnessing the conversation. Prior to the chat, Fishel had the Internet steaming over released steamy shots of her new Maxim magazine photo shoot.
We were expecting a sudden press boom for Topanga, Cory, and the gang with a Boy Meets World sequel in the works. But we weren’t necessarily expecting that press to come from Maxim. That said, Danielle Fishel is looking great in this pleasantly tasteful, though still quite sexy spread (it might even be safe for work). And not to pull the old “we bought it for the article!” excuse, but the interview isn’t bad, either. Fishel opens up about tramp stamps and the fact that Topanga — a name the producers picked off-the-cuff when creator Michael Jacobs was conveniently driving by Topanga Canyon in California — is now a legitimate name. Plus, she tells one crazy Bob Saget story. Definitely worth a read if you can swing it, if not, at least ogle at her still-luscious hair in the slideshow. (Refinery 29)
Back in October, Waka revealed he has been in a relationship for nearly two years.
“I’m in a relationship,” Waka said in an interview. “I’ve had a girl for almost two years. She’s about that life. That small talk [about women] don’t get her. … I’m d*mn sure ain’t going for Rihanna. H*ll nah. [Do I think Rihanna’s bad?] H*ll nah. It ain’t that I don’t think she’s bad, it’s like, nah, brah. She’s got history. You know what I mean? I don’t know, I can’t judge nobody. I don’t know. You don’t know what rocks to them, they’re in their beds. So you don’t know what’s going on.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
He previously talked about how stir crazy some hip-hop groupies are.
“Oh My Gawd! After the show they follow us to the car. We get kicked out of the hotel, but it’s so many girls, they follow us on the highway,” Waka said in an interview when asked about groupies getting love in whips. “We gotta stop on the highway and my security has to get out and have their guns out so they can get scared and drive away. When other rappers come with me they always say they ain’t never seen no sh*t like that.” (Complex)
