Native of Mallorca and world traveller, Vincent Dean, just released his debut solo single “Missing You” from his upcoming album Colours For Jasmin. While not a hip-hop artist, he’s equally influenced by hip-hop and funk as he is soul and R&B.
“The grease and the groove from funk and hip-hop music, that is the consistent foundation for all my music. Even if I end up with writing what comes out to be a pop song, the rhythmic roots are still in hip-hop and funk. They’re my inspiration and motor to write tunes,” says the crooner of funky pop.
