West Coast rapper V-Nasty recently discussed landing an alleged $750,000 record deal and why fans should not hold their breath for a White Girl Mob reunion with Kreayshawn.
According to Nasty, she cashed in the big bucks by signing a deal with indie label Pinnacle Records.
“I’d turned a couple of deals down, but I felt this was the best option for me right now. I’m dropping this EP in the first half of May, and finishing working on this album,” Nasty revealed. “It’s an independent deal. I don’t really know how to explain it, it’s independent as far as working with each other. It’s for three years of music and sh*t, but I’m ready to just keep going with them. Of course, we’re gonna get more artists and sh*t. It’s big. It’s not no regular Warner Bros., but I feel I’m in a better position. More freedom.” (LA Weekly)
She went on to discuss focusing on her own rap career rather than trying to make peace with ex-rap partner Kreayshawn.
“People just have their differences in life. A lot of people grow and feel a lot of different ways about certain situations. Sometime you just got to separate yourself from the negative and put yourself into a better position,” Nasty added. “[Reunion?] Man, there’s nothing. I don’t believe so. Not right now at least. I can’t deal working with somebody that’s not here for me. If you don’t fuck with me, it’s like f*cking with a wall.” (LA Weekly)
Along with an upcoming EP release, Nasty will hit the road for a slew of shows.
“After I drop this EP, I will be doing a tour, and hopefully by the end of the year, I will be doing a big tour. Right now, we are putting all of that together. I am here now, I know how to do all of this.” (HHVibe)
Last December, Nasty publicly went on a tirade against Kreay.
“@KREAYSHAWN tried to help are yu f*ckin serious b*tch stop actin like yu was the best friend ever !!! At one time yu were but now NOTIME,” Nasty tweeted December 2nd.
“And bitch ain’t never got a pimp Dolla never !!!!! Never pimped no bitch stop lyin to the magazines hoe”
“Just like when rick Ross call that b*tch out infront of cameras on the red carpet and didn’t say sh*t” (V-Nasty’s Twitter)
