Usher’s Son Spotted After Hospital Release, Rescuer Finally Speaks

R&B singer Usher’s five-year-old son, Usher Raymond V, looks nearly 100 percent better following his release from an Atlanta hospital after nearly losing his life from a freak pool accident.

This week, paparazzi spotted Lil’ Ush wearing a large bandage in public with his grandmother.

Usher’s son thankfully is recovering well following a recent incident in which he was almost drowned. The man responsible for saving the five-year-old’s life has also spoken out.

The man who saved Usher’s 5-year-old son from drowning has the humble hero thing down pat — telling TMZ it was all just part of his job … which was really supposed to be installing a new home studio … TMZ has learned. Eugene Stachurski was installing pro recording equipment in Usher’s basement last Monday (with fellow audio/visual contractor Ben Crews) when Usher Raymond V’s arm got trapped in the pool’s drain — and he tells us, “I thank God I was there to do something.” Stachurski and Crews both dove into the pool to save the boy and Stachurski performed CPR, while Usher’s aunt called 911. Before the ambulance arrived, Usher V was breathing fine. Stachurski says he’s overjoyed Usher’s son survived and he hopes to see him again soon. (TMZ)

A few days ago, the 34-year-old singer issued a public statement to thank the people responsible for saving his son’s life.

Usher has broken his silence since the hospitalization of his 5-year-old son, thanking the men who saved the little boy’s life. “I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock. I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son’s life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews,” the singer said in a statement. “They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them.” (People)

Last Tuesday, reports of Usher Raymond V being treated in an Atlanta hospital emerged.

Usher’s five-year-old son was rushed to the intensive care unit of an Atlanta hospital after a horrific swimming pool accident. Usher Raymond V nearly drowned after getting his arm wedged into drain of the family swimming pool 6 p.m. Monday evening. Though the boy is still in the hospital, doctors expect a full recovery.
