According to reports, Twist had marijuana on him when approached by cops.

Lil Twist was driving Justin Bieber‘s car while under the influence of marijuana … and he even had a LIT BLUNT in the car at the time of his DUI arrest, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. We broke the story … 20-year-old Twist was busted in Calabasas around 3:30 AM Thursday morning on his way to Bieber’s house. Twist was hauled to a nearby station, where he was booked … and was later released after roughly 8 hours in custody. As he left the Sheriff’s station, Twist didn’t have much to say to us. We’re guessing he’ll be more talkative when he explains himself to JB. (TMZ)

The arrest took place early Thursday (July 11) in California.

Lil Twist, whose real name is Christopher Lynn Moore, was believed to be under the influence of a substance when police stopped the chrome Fisker Karma at 3:30 in the morning. He was taken to a nearby police station and booked on a charge of driving under the influence. Lil Twist did not appear drunk, the gossip site reports, suggesting he may have been under the influence of drugs. (NY Daily News)

No stranger to law enforcement or the Biebs, Twist ran into issues in late May.

It isn’t the first time the carefree rapper has been pulled over driving one of Bieber’s cars. He was stopped on May 29 leaving Bieber’s Calabasas neighborhood in his famous friend’s white Ferrari. Before that, on New Year’s Day, paparazzo Chris Guerra was struck and killed by a car as he tried to score a photo of Bieber’s Ferrari, which had been pulled over by cops. Guerra had said he saw Bieber, 19, smoking marijuana earlier in the day and thought the singer was in the car. It turned out Lil Twist was the one driving, and Bieber wasn’t with him. Recently, Young Money’s Flow was arrested on a first-degree murder charge.

New Orleans rapper Widner DeGruy, 21, who performs as Flow and was signed to Lil Wayne‘s Young Money Entertainment label in 2012, has been booked with attempted first-degree murder in Chalmette and two counts of armed robbery, St. Bernard Parish Sheriff Jimmy Pohlmann said Tuesday evening. DeGruy, also known by the nickname Esho Hero, was arrested in the Oakland, Calif., area recently by a U.S. Marshal’s task force and was returned to Chalmette on Thursday for prosecution after waiving extradition, Pohlmann said. DeGruy had fled to California after arrest warrants alleged that he had shot at, and narrowly missed, an eastern St. Bernard man he knew on April 29. He allegedly had beaten and robbed that man and another eastern St. Bernard man of cash and their cellphones, Pohlmann said. (NOLA)
