Although sold-out, diehard fans can still make pre-orders through Wednesday (July 17).

He’s got a hit album, a new baby — and now Kanye West has one more thing to celebrate: A sellout clothing collaboration. West’s collection for French ready-to-wear line A.P.C. was shrouded in secrecy up until it launched Sunday at 10 a.m. Paris time. At which point, the nine-piece capsule collection (which A.P.C. designer Jean Touitou said was two years in the making) crashed the site and sold out promptly, though A.P.C. is still taking pre-orders for the next shipment until Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (PEOPLE)

Photos of the new, high-end flashy gear surfaced online Monday (July 15).

Kanye West’s new fashion collaboration with French label, A.P.C. is now available online. As previously reported, the designer label announced the collaboration via Twitter last week. Few details were given with West and the comapany only posting a shot of the zipper area of a pair of jeans with the tag exposed on their respective sites. Today, the line was made available via A.P.C.’s website. Bargain shoppers beware. The price of Yeezy’s gear isn’t cheap. The “Been Trill” tee which displays a group of skeletons is hitting for $120 while the hoodie and jeans run $280 and $265, respectively. (XXL Mag)

Confirmation on Yeezy teaming up with the French clothing company A.P.C. emerged last week.

The collaboration was announced by APC via their Twitter page yesterday (July 7), by posting an image of blue denim with a red tag that says “APC Kanye”. The caption on the photo said: “APC Kanye Capsule Collection. July 14” Last month, W Magazine hinted at the collaboration when they reported that the rapper was working on a “a new men’s capsule collection of jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies for a hip French brand”. The rap star recently detailed his love and admiration for Paris, France.

His current exile in Paris–a town famously lacking in yes-men, where even a star like West is just another outsider who can’t get a table at his favorite restaurant if it happens to be full–seems like his latest exercise in self-abnegation, in the name of self-improvement. “In Paris, you’re as far as possible from the land of pleasant smiles,” West says. “You can just trip on inspiration–there are so many people here who dedicate their lives to excellence.” And inspiration is particularly crucial to West these days, given his ultimate ambition, which goes way beyond making hit records or developing a discerning eye for console tables. He’s plotting to create operas, stores, films, product packaging, amusement parks, and, possibly, entire cities. West is essentially out to redesign the world, if the world will let him do it.
