Miami rapper Flo Rida has responded to G-Unit head 50 Cent revealing he would like to go toe-to-toe with him in a boxing ring.
Rather than ignore the hype, Flo gracefully accepted Fif’s publicized challenge.
“@50Cent let’s go! http://instagr.am/p/WfCqfcPtZH/,” Flo tweeted March 6th. (Flo Rida’s Twitter)
Fif credited Flo’s body build for saying he would be a top notch hip-hop artist to box.
“I just always loved the sport, so it’s exciting to be a part of it,” Fif said in an interview. “I’m aware of fighters in different territories because I travel so much. … [What hip-hop artist would I want to box?] Flo Rida would probably be the toughest guy to match-up in a fight because he physically trains that way. It would be fun, it would be real entertaining. We need to actually get the pay-per-view going now. Call Flo Rida and see what we can do. [laughs]” (Fox 5)
In November, Curtis Jackson said he would lace up a pair of gloves to go against estranged friend/boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
“I’ll fight Him dec 14th is to soon. I would need time to get in shape. I’m 204 right now I hit that boy he will see a white light. SMS AUDIO,” Fif tweeted November 8th. “If they want to give me 5 million fool SKRT @SevenThirty93: @50cent you Box now?” (50 Cent’s Twitter)
Reports of a $10 million ($5 million each) fight offer between 50/Floyd emerged online last fall.
Rapper 50 Cent and boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather have been offered $5 million each to settle their beef inside a boxing ring. The two men, who were best friends, recently had a falling out over some business arrangements and have been slamming each other on Twitter. Eccentric billionaire Alki David and Celebrity Boxing Owner Damon Feldman have offered the men a huge pay day to square off in a three round boxing match. David says the match will air live on Filmon.com and Battlecam.com, two of his websites. (RumorFix)
