Young Money rapper Tyga got to flaunt himself in a show called "Bustas" four years ago, however, the recorded footage never came out until now.
In the footage, Tyga takes pride in growing up in a safe and comfortable environment.
Rapper Tyga enjoyed a cushy upbringing in the Valley — NOT Compton — at least that’s what the rapper said on a game show back in 2008 … and TMZ has obtained the unaired footage. The show was called “Bustas” — where wannabe-rappers compete against each other to see who can embody ugly rap stereotypes the best … playing borderline-offensive games like “Guess the Rapper By His Grill” and “Is This a Real Rolex?” Tyga appeared on the show … and immediately sacrificed any semblance of street cred in the process … claiming he grew up in a well-to-do household in the Valley, and his parents drove a Range Rover. But Tyga — who has since claimed he grew up in Compton — insisted, “I’m still street.” (TMZ)
In another segment of the show, Tyga catches heat over a freestyle rap.
Thankfully for Tyga, the show was never picked up and the clip never made it to air … until now. The highlight: “Bustas” culminates with a freestyle rap, in which the contestants are asked to incorporate buzz words like “amoeba” into their raps, and Tyga’s so bad … he gets his ass boo’d off stage. (For the record, Tyga does not know how to pronounce the word “amoeba”) It’s pretty bad — but you should check out the video to see if Tyga actually loses the entire show. (TMZ)
Outside of the now-dated show, Tyga recently welcomed his first child.
Reports of a possible baby on the way popped up in August. It’s time to break out the cigars and congratulate Tyga on his newest title: father. The YMCMB artist and his girlfriend, Blac Chyna, welcomed their first child, King Cairo Stevenson, on Tuesday (October 16). The 22-year-old rapper (born Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson) tweeted out a photo of him cradling the newborn in his arms to his followers with the simple caption: “Most Amazing feeling ever #Blessed #2Kings @KingCairo.” Chyna tweeted that she carried the bundle of joy for 40 weeks and that he weighed in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce: “Welcome King Cairo Stevenson 7lbs 1 oz ……. #blessed !!!!” (MTV)
From the “King of Diamonds” strip club to rocking an engagement diamond? That’s what many speculate has happened with rapper Tyga and his girlfriend Blac Chyna, a dancer well-known for performing at Miami’s famous King of Diamonds strip club, a favorite haunt of rappers. This weekend, Chyna posted a photo of a very big ring on her engagement finger with the caption, “Red Points … To match this red B*tch !” on Instagram. (Rapfix)
