Young Money‘s Tyga has paid homage to late rap icon 2Pac and his former Death Row comrades. The California native used a pic of the collective to illustrate what he’s aiming to achieve next year.
Ty went to Instagram this past weekend and captioned his Death Row pic with “2017.”
Back in June, Tyga co-signed the upcoming 2Pac biopic All Eyez On Me.
Earlier this summer, rap veteran Game co-signed the highly-anticipated movie release.
“Eh, I’m proud of the homie Benny Boom. I’m proud for Pac – I’m proud for being from the West Coast,” Game said. “That 2Pac movie is the real deal. Sh*t make that Biggie movie look like a cartoon. I don’t mean no [disrespect] but hey. That’s what it is, homie.”
Last winter, Tyga explained why he called Pac his dad on social media.
“Yeah, I’m inspired by him as a student of the culture,” Tyga said referring to Pac. “Especially my generation. My real father has been in jail all my life so I never really knew my real father so I said Pac is like a father figure to me.” (TMZ)

Pac taught me a lot more than my own father. Inspired me, Motivated Me, Listened without ever being there.
