With popular demand earning Fox’s hit “Empire” series a season three green light, Chicago rap veteran Twista tells SOHH just how much he gets down with the must-see show.
Twista says he hoped to have his acting skills land him a spot on Fox’s highly-rated program.
“I have actually auditioned for ‘Empire’ more than once,” Twista told SOHH. “I guess if the opportunity arises then I will be more than accepting [to appear on shows like ‘Empire.’]. “Television has tapped into people’s likes and dislikes and they are able to make programs more towards what people want. Plus the way we are all connected, I don’t think people I’ve had the opportunity to see some of the things that are being shown, gravitating towards it!” (SOHH)

The star was so overjoyed by the win that she handed out cookies to the audience before taking the stage. (Henson, of course, plays Cookie Lyons on the Fox hit.) But it didn’t end there. Henson snapped at the man who helped her up the stairs because he stepped on the long train of her Stella McCartney dress, and yelled at the teleprompter for telling her to wrap up her speech.
