Miami rapper Trina sent shockwaves of concern throughout hip-hop today (September 23) after reportedly passing out in a Florida airport.
According to reports, Trina was rushed to a hospital following her early morning incident.
“Here We Go” rapper Trina was hospitalized early Monday morning — after passing out in a Florida airport over “dehydration and overexertion.” We’re told Trina had been traveling all day while battling some sort of illness — and hit the deck minutes after stepping off the plane. The 34-year-old rapper was rushed to a nearby hospital … where she’s recovering. We’re told Trina will be fine. (TMZ)
The “Baddest Chick” has already jumped onto her Twitter page to update concerned fans.

The rapper recently spoke on using music and performances to help alleviate the pain.
However, juggling onstage duties and emotional turmoil proved to be the night’s biggest triumph for the 34-year-old rap star. In April, the Miami native’s 19-year-old brother Wilbrent “Gonk” Bain was murdered in a violent gun altercation. Admitting the tragic loss sends her to a “very dark place,” the Diamond Princess says performing among her peers helps her cope, if only for a few moments. “I got on that [BMI Awards] stage, performed and smiled, but honestly, I’m numb,” she says. “There’s nothing in the world that could make me really understand that my brother is not here and I can’t get on the phone and say something to him. Sometimes I look at the text messages or look at the phone and still dial his number. Right before hitting that stage, I was literally in tears like, wow, he could’ve been here with me. The brother of the famous female rapper Trina was shot and killed Tuesday morning in northwest Miami, residents said. Wilbrent Bain, who goes by the nickname “Gonk,” was shot at about 10 a.m. on Northwest 91st Street, neighbors said. Bain lived his entire life in northwest Miami, where he is well known. “Now, I’m hurt because this man is gone for no reason at all,” neighbor Demetrius Hammond said. “He was a close friend to me.” “He’s a very good kid,” family friend the Rev.
