Although careful with his words, Trick admitted he may have had something to do with Ross not performing at the annual Summer Jamz show.

“My apologies to anybody if you didn’t get to see the people that you wanted to perform, it was not directed at you, nor was it directed at the venue, nor was it directed at the radio station. Some things had to be done, they were done, everybody left healthy, and we got everybody’s attention. … That’s a grown man, I’m a grown man. Grown men don’t put grown man business out to the motherf*king public. If I wanted to address it I would have addressed it. If I wanted to promote it I would have promoted it.” (WSHH)

Trick also laughed off allegations of trying to benefit financially from the situation.

“I move how I move because I stand for something. My no fly zone ain’t about taking nobody’s money. I don’t want your motherf*cking money, nobody. What the f*ck I look like? Telling somebody you got to me pay me to come to my town. Don’t you think I would have been in f*cking prison if that what was going on? And as far as the incident the other day, you see what the f*ck the police said; no arrests were made, so what the f*ck did I do wrong?” (WSHH)

This week, Trick’s manager said his client would address rumors about being behind Ricky Rozay getting bullied at the Detroit show.

Arthur Alston, Trick Trick’s manager, told The News his client will address the matter in interviews “this week,” releasing this statement Monday from Trick Trick. “To all those who want to know what the No Fly Zone is please go to 1:17 on this video and quote me there,” Trick Trick said. The “Bawse” downplayed the controversy and acknowledged his publicized absence over the weekend.

“Luv #Detroit I wiz ready to killm unite, heard it wiz a peace protest wit picket signs and locked gates haa,” Ross wrote June 22. (Rick Ross’ Twitter)
