Texas rapper Travis Scott is not too proud to take himself out of the “Best Rapper Alive” running. Instead, Scotty has blessed rap veteran Lil Wayne with the title.

Scott went to Instagram Sunday (November 6) and labeled Weezy F. Baby the best rapper breathing.

Over the past few days, Wayne has sparked controversy over dicey anti-Black Lives Matter comments.

Yesterday (November 5), Wayne’s longtime friend T.I. publicly called him out over the BLM drama.

Entertainment personality Dr. Boyce Watkins has publicly ripped Wayne over his open apology for exploding during the “Nightline” interview.

“Hey what’s up, I’m Dr. Boyce Watkins. I’m here in Treport, Louisiana and I heard that Lil Wayne apologized for his disrespectful remarks about Black Lives Matter, about black people, about black women and you know, I would say it’s fine to apologize. But the thing is, he has to show that his apology is more than just a ploy for money or to protect his brand. The fact of the matter, brother, is you have a lot to apologize for. You really need to kind of apologize for the last 15 years. You’ve got a daughter and you’ve been calling a lot of other people’s daughters b*tches and h*es but in the interview you got mad because the interviewer said – asked you how you feel about your own daughter being cast as a b*tch and a h*e. Well, if you don’t like your own daughter being cast in that light, why are you putting my daughter in that light? Why are you putting other black men’s daughters in that light? Or just other men’s daughters and women’s daughters in that light? It’s wrong. I think you need to apologize a lot. I think about 8,000 apologies will do the trick.”

After massive backlash, Wayne issued an apology over his hard-hitting Black Lives Matter remarks.

Wayne tells TMZ … “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b*tch and a h*e, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses.” Wayne told us, “Apologies to anyone who was offended.” (TMZ)

  1. I love how the media tries to spin it into a race war.  T.I. has to do his research before making such comments.  Really T.I hunted?  Why then over the last two years were 732 white people shot and killed by law enforcement and 381 black people.  Do your research before trying to start a conflict that isn’t even there.  The news only reports one side bro and your comments are baseless

    • America is 13% black and 63% white. That’s a 13/63= 0.206 ratio. However the ratio of killings is 381/732=0.520 ratio. In case you don’t understand that means black folks are over represented among police killings. So, yes, there is a real issue and his comments are not “baseless”.

    • And tell me how many of those 732 people shot by police have posed a threat, when 15 year old black kids are being shot for being black, you’re an amerikkkan aren’t you?

  2. Teepee u are wrong! Blacks are not being hunted by police. More white people are killed by cops. U say there’s more white people but there’s more black people committing crime. Once you factor that in than whites are killed at a much higher rate. U trippin. 200 black people killed last year out of 38 million. That’s 0.00005 get a grip and make people take responsibility for fuckin up
