Hollywood actress Tracee Ellis Ross has come forward to deny widespread rumors suggesting she took a shot at Young Money’s Tyga at last weekend’s BET Awards.
Ross hopped onto her Instagram page to clear up the misconception of going at Tyga during the televised broadcast this week.

Speculation immediately sparked social media after Ross appeared to take a simple shot at Tyga over his alleged romance to celebrity teenager Kylie Jenner.
“Equally a triple threat,” read Ross as the teleprompter displayed a copy of her script. After calling the duo “young, sexy, and black,” Ross took a long pause and laughed openly before she said “Tyga and Chris Brown.” Twitter ran with it and thought she was mocking them, specifically Tyga. Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan recently came to Tyga’s defense over the Kylie relationship attention.

Instead of scolding him for dating a teenager, Tyga’s 70-year-old grandmother Kim Nguyen recently applauded him for leaving ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna and uniting with Jenner a few months ago.
“She is such a sweet, lovely girl and seems to adore Tyga. So we didn’t mind him splitting up from Blac. It was a relief for us all,” Kim said in an interview. “She loves Vietnamese food, so we love to cook it for her whenever Tyga invites us to his home.
