Why Tyga & Avril Lavigne’s New Relationship Is Turning Heads

Tyga and Avril Lavigne may seem like an unlikely match. Still, the two new lovebirds are turning heads with many wondering about their connection.

In the past, Tyga raised eyebrows when he dated then underaged 14-year-old Kylie Jenner, while he was 21.  Now, the “Taste” artist, 33, is the younger one in this relationship as he and Lavigne, who is 38, are only five years apart.

Lavigne has also been connected to Kylie’s older brother, Brody Jenner.

The two artists also seem to be underappreciated within their genres and have even gotten roasted for “irrelevance” over the last several years.

In 2007, Lavigne was called an “a**hole” in an article for Slant Magazine. Calling her annoying at parties and even insulting her intelligence by calling her “dumber” than she looks.

Fans within the Punk Rock community have also been vocal about their feelings toward Lavigne They’ve also accused her of abandoning her roots in the genre and dismissed her altogether.

On the other hand, Tyga has been called irrelevant for several years by fans on the internet since he left Lil Wayne’s Young Money label.
