Tony Yayo Says Beware Of G-Unit’s Return: “Shout-Out To 50, Shout-Out To Banks” [Audio]

G-Unit’s Tony Yayo recently updated fans on the status of his crew and guaranteed 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks were coming strong with new projects in 2014.

Despite rumors of the Unit being broken up, the “Talk of New York” promised new releases from the group would be arriving soon.

“Yeah man, you got that Animal Ambition tape coming,” Yayo said referring to 50’s upcoming release. “You got that [Lloyd Banks] Cold Corner coming. You got that El Chapo coming. Everybody’s working. It’s just a work in process. Shout-out to 50, shout-out to Banks. Like I said, rest in peace to Mazaradi one more time. It’s crazy. … I’m going to be ready to go with this El Chapo 3, my man, Whoo Kid, you know where you get the exclusives first at. Shout-out to Banks, shout-out to 50. Cold Corner, Animal Ambition, all that.” (“Whoolywood Shuffle”)

Fif recently said he would release his Animal Ambition project in the coming weeks.

“I’m going to drop it in January, it’s a full body of work,” Fif revealed. “I wouldn’t call it a mixtape because it’s a higher grade than the material that I put out on mixtapes. I recorded so many album quality songs that I’m going to put the Animal project out as my viral marketing plan and then it will come out after, Street King Immortal.” (Whoolywood Shuffle)

A week prior, Curtis Jackson said his delayed solo effort would be preceded by a new project.

But what about his long-coming album, “Street King Immortal”? Unfortunately, there is no word on the album release yet, but Jackson said he plans to put out a full body of work in January. While he did not label it as an album, he stated that it was more than a mixtape, and that it includes all original material. As to the sound of the release, he said he was “inspired in a whole other direction.” (Huffington Post)

Lloyd Banks treated his Instagram followers to a special, animated version of his upcoming Cold Corner 3 cover last November.

Lloyd Banks reveals the cover art for his upcoming “Cold Corner 3″ mixtape. A few weeks back, Llloyd Banks made an announcement that his next project, Cold Corner 3, was on its way. With the release date expected to be here soon, Banks has decided to reveal the cover art for the project today. Taking to his Instagram, Banks reveals the animated artwork for Cold Corner 3. No word on any features or what to expect from the mixtape, but its safe to expect that the project will be dropping fairly soon. When Lloyd made the announcement a couple weeks ago, he said it could be here as soon as two weeks, which would be right around now! So stay tuned. (Hot New Hip Hop)
