According to reports, police arrested Loc Saturday (June 18) afternoon.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Loc (real name Anthony Smith) was arrested yesterday around 2:45 PM at an apartment complex in Burbank, CA. Loc made headlines in 2009 after collapsing during a Florida concert.

Tone was released on Friday after collapsing during an outdoor concert in Florida, officials said. Colleen Kirsch, spokeswoman for Gulf Breeze Hospital, said Friday afternoon that Tone Loc had been treated at the hospital and released. The rapper’s manager, Bobby Bessone with B.A.M. Management/Entertainment Artists Agency, said flight delays and heat contributed to the collapse. He said the rapper is recovering. (Associated Press)

The incident took place in northern Florida around late May 2009.

Tone Loc is most known for making hits around the early 1990’s.

Tone-Loc (born Anthony Smith) soared from obscurity into pop stardom in 1989 when his hoarse voice and unmistakable delivery made the song “Wild Thing” (using a sample from Van Halen‘s “Jamie’s Cryin'”) a massive hit. The song was co-written by Marvin Young, better known as Young MC, as was the second single smash, “Funky Cold Medina.” The album Loc-ed After Dark became the second rap release ever to top the pop charts. Tone-Loc expanded his horizons into acting in 1992 and 1993, appearing a few times on the Fox sitcom Roc. He was also in the films Posse and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and in 1991 returned to recording with Cool Hand Loc. (All Music)
