Producer Timbland has decided to stay true to his promise and will release new music on a weekly basis beginning this Thursday, January 13th.
The renowned hitmaker will offer fans free tracks on his own TimbalandThursdays.com website.

Last month, Tim revealed that the launch would take place sometime in January.
“Timbo the King, announces, ‘Timbaland Thursday,’ starting in January,” Tim announced in a video. “I was gonna start in December, but I’m going to kick it off in January. Just do something fresh for the new year, I think I’ll be a new man for the new year. So let me do something. I think my music is for the new year, something fresh. I’m always different. Something for the new year. I’m bringing you music every Thursday until I decide to stop. And I probably won’t stop. Like [Diddy] say, ‘Don’t stop, take that, take that. Take that record.'” (Perception Media Group)
A couple months ago, G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks announced he would drop new tracks on Fridays until Hunger For More 2 dropped in November.
“I’m not gonna stop putting out mixtape material, I don’t know if I’m gonna put it out in the form of a mixtape,” Banks explained in an interview. “But every Friday, I’ve been releasing a new record. Every Friday for ‘Blue Fridays.’ So I figure we do that for the next eight, nine weeks and by the time the album comes out, [the fans] will have a mixtape if they put it all together.” (WV Soul Magazine)
In August, Kanye West unveiled his “G.O.O.D. Music” weekly project.
“I know yall need the music so I’m dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song it may be a new Jay song etc…,” he tweeted in August.
“I’m calling it good Fridays. Yall know every Friday yall gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now.” (Kanye West’s Twitter)
