Late night talk show host Chelsea Handler has finally cleared the air on a much talked about sex tape from her pre-fame days allegedly floating around to interested buyers.
While online buzz claims Handler’s X-rated footage exists, the comedic host said no such material was ever created.
“There’s no sex tape,” Handler said in an August 2011 interview with Esquire writer Scott Raab. “There never was a sex tape. I know that you want there to be, but there isn’t. [You don’t?] You do.” (Esquire)
Last September, rumors of a Handler-featured sex tape landed online.

Additional reports suggested the footage was in the process of being sold.
“After Radar broke the existence of Chelsea’s sex tape several people came forward with copies,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “It’s been shopped around for the past four months and a deal is very close to being made.” AsRadarOnline.com previously reported, the VHS tape was made more than a decade ago after Chelsea moved to Los Angeles and was intended to be a demo of her stand-up routine and included a clip of her homemade sex tape. Handler claims the demo-tape-accidentally-recorded-over-sex-tape theme was intentional and has dismissed the tape as a joke that she showed at birthday parties. (RadarOnline)
Details on what the footage depicted was also revealed.
Chelsea, who is on all fours on a bed is naked and at several times during the filming she looks directly at the camera. Her breasts are bare and swinging during the sex act. At the end of the “performance”, Chelsea’s partner speaks in a clear British accent, asking, “Did we get the (bleep) shot?” Chelsea looks into the camera and smiles at this point. Then the tape immediately cuts back into Chelsea continuing her stand-up routine in her apartment. (Huffington Post)
