Styles said artists like Puffy are putting on a positive look for hip-hop by standing behind products that are actual good for your body.

“It’s great,” Styles told SOHH when asked for his reaction to Diddy getting behind AQUAhydrate and artists like 50 Cent launching his own Street King energy shot line. “It’s f*cking great. We need it. You need to live right. So it’s great. The juice bar is still going on. … It’s all about balance. Everything needs balance. You can’t do all sh*t that’s wrong for you. You know what I’m saying? The waters and [healthy drinks], I think it’s great for artists to do that. Whatever artists do, regular people are going to do. It’s great to see artists doing something healthy or something that benefits everybody.” (SOHH)

Buzz behind Diddy’s new business relationship with AQUAhydrate exploded across the ‘net earlier this week.

Entertainment powerhouse Sean “Diddy” Combs and actor/producer Mark Wahlberg today announced a joint venture with Southern California-based fitness and wellness water brand, AQUAhydrate. Per the arrangement, Combs and Wahlberg will oversee business strategy along with CEO John Cochran, formerly President of Fiji Water. Together they will help drive the AQUAhydrate vision and be instrumental in helping secure retail partnerships for the water brand, such as their recently signed deals with Safeway, Kroger and GNC. A few years ago, Styles launched his own New York juice bar called Juices for Life.

Juices for Life on Castle Hill Ave in Castle Hill is serving fresh fruit and vegetable drinks to locals sick of fast food and liquor, while building a community of health-conscious customers. Owned by Yonkers rapper Styles P and Trinidadian and Tobagan-born juice mixologist Nigel Rollocks, Juices for Life opened three weeks ago. David Styles, 36 – known by the stage name Styles P – was drawn to the business after making fruit blends part of his own diet. He started “juicing” about 10 years ago at a Harlem health bar run by the Rollocks family. “I was pretty chunky,” Styles said. “I was on the road living the fast life. I wasn’t paying attention to my health.” Since then, the Ruff Ryders rapper has lost 60 pounds. He and Rollocks hope to spread their fruit and vegetable gospel throughout the Bronx. The bar also serves juice made from bark and ginseng – with sexual powers, according to Styles. (New York Daily News)

Diddy even revealed a sit down he had with L-O-X at Styles’ juice bar back in Decenber 2009.

“In a meeting with the LOX!Let’s go!!!,” he wrote. “Having a bark shot and juicing up with my brother @therealstylesp fruits of life 125th btw park and madison 1! On way to latin quarters with the bad boy dirty money crew!!!! Let’s go nyc! Let’s go! Let’s go!” (Diddy’s Twitter)
