"Love & Hip Hop" star Tahiry is finally coming clean on new rumors which suggest she may have romantically reunited with ex-boyfriend and fellow cast member Joe Budden.
While she initially tried to avoid the question by promoting next Monday’s reunion show airing, Tahiry finally broke and said they are not yet back together.
“No, don’t believe the hype,” Tahiry said when asked if she and Budden are back together. “Don’t believe the hype. Like I said, you guys, don’t believe the hype but you guys should tune in Monday night at 8 on VH1. [Me and Joe blog rumors?] What else is new? Like I said, you can’t believe everything you read. [Him and Kaylin breaking up and us getting back together?] That’s something you should ask Joe about — me and Joey are not back together. A few days ago, rumors of Joe and on-camera girlfriend Kaylin Garcia splitting up surfaced online.
Rumors has it that Joe Budden has officially ended his very public, Instagram-fueled, relationship with 20 year-old, gangsta-grilled banger Kaylin Garcia. From what we hear, Joe has wanted to leave Kaylin for a while now, but felt bad for her as she had little life of her own. In addition, Bossip sources confirm that the has the “Zumba instructor” has moved out of Joe’s New Jersey home and his life, also that Joe could be back to chopping down his big booty bae Tahiry! We can’t say that we are totally shocked. It seems since the new seasons of Love & Hip-Hop New York started there have been little to no freaky Instagram pics, no lovey-dovey tweets, not to mention Kaylin’s very limited camera time with Joe outside of the fight with Tahiry. We’re sure more details will emerge from this never-ending clusterfawk love triangle soon enough. Stay tuned… (Bossip)
Earlier this year, Tahiry talked about joining “Love & Hip Hop” and sharing camera time with her former lover.
“In retrospect, everything is funny and you get over situation. But in the moment, it’s my real life. I can’t be mad at VH1, we both signed on for this. But still, there’s also real life happening, I mean what you see on tv is real, but it’s moving a lot slower than real life (the mixtape situation happened AFTER they filmed). So it’s difficult because I am not pretending. But Joe does that all the time. He raps about me all the time and he holds on to sh*t.” (The YBF)
Back in 2009, the video vixen addressed their publicized break-up.
“I just feel like — I’m never going to speak bad about Joey,” Tahiry promised. “I love him. Five years. It was a long time. We were just growing apart. We were not in the same zip codes. I just didn’t feel like after five years we were building that foundation together. For a long time it was, ‘Joe, Joe, Tahiry, Tahiry.’ When it was beneficial, it was Joe and Tahiry. But you know after five years, you’re supposed to feel like you’re building something. I didn’t feel like we were building anything…I dated one other rapper [Ed. note–that would be Fabolous]. We’re very good friends now, contrary to belief. Very good friends. Remember after that I said, ‘Ugh! Never a rapper!’ Not because he was bad, because it was a lot. People think it’s easy. All glitz and glamour, but it’s not that easy. Then Joey came. And when he came, it wasn’t supposed to happen, but I’m glad it did. I’m not interested in dating anyone right now.
