A few days ago, Harvey sparked headlines after scolding hip-hop artists like Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow for bashing President Trump.

“I love Snoop. Bow Wow, always respectful and cordial with one another, me and T.I. I don’t have no problem with T.I. I love the dude. I’m just saying brothers be smart. You gotta be smart man. All y’all talking got money. You got money, man. You got money and they know how to go after that money. Just be smart, handle your business. Let me tell ya man, leave the first lady out of this. Y’all going down another path with these cats now. You start messing with they wives – I’ll tell y’all you going down another path.”

Last week, rap veteran Common weighed-in on Snoop shooting a fake Trump in his controversial “Lavender” music video.

“Hip-hop’s always been about freedom of expression. That’s one of the most powerful things. Hip-hop has been like a voice for so many people. Snoop, you know, at the end of the day, hip-hop has always been – if you go and look at Public Enemy and fast forward to Kendrick Lamar, like, hip-hop artists have always been speaking up and saying what they feel.” (TMZ)

A few nights prior, Snoop Dogg revealed his disinterest in acknowledging the dispute.

“They all want to ask me questions and interview me but guess what? I’ve got nothing to say, mate.”
