The “King of the South’s” unexpected revamped version premiered online Sunday (February 16).

The remixes to Beyoncé and Jay Z‘s hit single ‘Drunk In Love’ have been coming in strong this past week and now Atlanta rapper T.I. adds his own sound to the Detail-produced track. The original version of the song appeared on Beyoncé’s self-titled fifth studio album released in December of last year. “Handcuffs I’m no fan of those, but you ain’t gonna need any hands at all” flows Tip over the now-changed instrumental. While Kanye West’s version was where we first heard the ‘Drunk In Love’ instrumental being tweaked, this new remix from the Grand Hustle boss takes on a whole new EDM-influenced beat. The Weeknd celebrated his 24th birthday Sunday night with a “Drunk In Love” remix.

The Detail produced ‘Drunk In Love’ by Beyonce has already gone places as far as popularity and radio spins are concerned. Now it’s time for well established artists to take their shot at it. We heard Kanye on the official remix yesterday and today, it’s none other than The Weeknd who puts his own drugged out spin on it. (HHNM)

On Kanye’s revamped version, Mr. West spits x-rated bars to Queen Bey’s buzzing record.

The track, which premiered on AngieReview.com, starts with a foreign wail, and a slightly reworked instrumental before Kanye spews his X-rated thoughts and inner-most desires. “You will never need another lover/ ‘Cause you a MILF and I’m a motherf—er,” West starts in a line that may or may not be a reference to fiancée Kim Kardashian. Yeezy continues to make a number of thinly veiled references to Kimmy. “If you aint on sight, you on skype/ I put you on a bike, you bound girl,” he raps connecting the dots to his “Bound 2” music video, which featured himself and his bride-to-be simulating sex scenes while riding a motorcycle. Prior to the remix, Bey’s “Drunk In Love” has been a viral hit.

One of the standout tracks off Beyoncé’s latest album was “Drunk In Love,” which featured her husband Jay Z. The music video has over 80 million views, and the couple performed the song live at this years Grammy’s. (Prefix Mag)
