Although careful with his words, Tip said the must-see action-packed thrill ride would come with some unexpected laughs.

“That he gets small,” Tip teased when asked how much information he could dish out without getting in trouble. “[laughs] Nah man, I think it’s going to be a lot more comedy than you expect from a Marvel franchise. I think we kind of made each other look better – I think it’s going to be a phenomenal film and an outstanding franchise that we will do more of and more and more and more.” (Collider)

Living up to its title, Marvel used an ant-sized rollout for its long-awaited teaser in January.

If the teensy preview wasn’t enough to satiate your appetite, the trailer tells fans that a normally dimensioned clip will be coming their way soon. “Watch the human-sized world teaser premiere January 6.” No word on when a human-size, extended trailer will debut, but the film is slated to release July 17, 2015, so this will just have to hold us over! Buzz about Tip’s presence in the likely blockbuster flick surfaced online last summer.

Marvel’s Ant-Man has announced several new castings, including rapper T.I., Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire), Judy Greer (Archer) and John Slattery (Mad Men). The film, directed by Peyton Reed, began principal photography on Monday in San Francisco. It stars Paul Rudd as its title character, a superhero who can shrink while increasing in strength, with Michael Douglas as his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, and Evangeline Lilly as Pym’s daughter. Recently, G-Unit head 50 Cent expressed an interest in being a part of the Marvel Universe.

That’s because Fif wants to play a “bad guy” in an upcoming Marvel superhero film, but “the kind you start to like,” he told MTV News recently, giving a bit of a description of his musical career, as well. “Because we all have a streak of a rebel in us, so you find yourself rooting for the bad guy at some point,” he said. “The Joker was that in ‘Batman.'” Beyond that, he wants to play himself — in “Star Wars.” “There’s so many good roles to play in ‘Star Wars,’ they can just let me walk by in the back,” he joked.
