While a release date is not yet penciled in, Tip revealed plans to give fans a sequel to his upcoming LP.

“I had so much music, man, I recorded like a 120-something songs for this project,” Tip said in an interview. “I imagine that, you know, just given the amount of music left over that we weren’t able to put on this project that we do a sequel. So, you know, the sequel to this album will be he who wears the crown. That’s the primary reason for the subtitle.” (Rap-Up)

Last month, the new album’s tracklisting surfaced online and showed guest features from Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne plus R. Kelly listed.

The King of the South T.I. is hot on the promotional trial for his forthcoming disc Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. As part of his “Trouble Man Tuesdays,” Tip unveiled the album cover and tracklist for the hotly anticipated album. 1. “The Introduction” 2. “G Season” feat. Meek Mill 3. “Trap Back Jumpin” 4. “Wildside” feat. A$AP Rocky 5. “Ball” feat. Lil Wayne 6. “Sorry” feat. André 3000 7. “Can You Learn” feat. R. Kelly 8. “Go Get It” 9. “Guns and Roses” feat. P!nk 10. “The Way We Ride” 11. “Cruisin'” 12. “Addresses” 13. “Hello” CeeLo Green 14. “Who Want Some” 15. “Wonderful Life” feat. Akon 16. “Hallelujah” (The Urban Daily)

Back in August, the “King of the South” defended his decision not to rush out the long-awaited solo effort.

“Me being the perfectionist that I am, I’m still tweaking and fine-tuning, trying to perfect all parts of this project,” Tip told MTV News, confirming that the album won’t be complete for another few months. “I did, like, 124 songs, and I’ve narrowed it down to 86 now, so now I have to continue to narrow down and continue to make it better. I’m not trying to paint myself into a corner with a date. I’m trying to make sure that the project is the absolute best it could be, and I’m trying to get it down by the end of the year.” (MTV)

The VH1 reality star recently hit up SOHH and said Trouble Man had more priority than his other upcoming retail projects.

“We’re definitely going to get Trouble Man [out there] first,” Tip told SOHH when asked about his upcoming LP release dates. “That’s defnitely number one, that’s definitely priority. You’ll get that in time. As far as the T.I. and B.o.B. and T.I. and Young Jeezy record, that’s in the works. I don’t know man, I definitely want to do both of them.” (SOHH)
